How do you know when you have become a trusted partner to a CIO? BlueSky IT Partners got an answer to that question at the Inspire Houston CIO Spotlight, where Meg Toups joined four other underwriters and a Gold Sponsor in front of a room full of CIOs.

Rather than lead with a sales pitch, each underwriter had a CIO advocate share their firsthand experience working together: what they were trying to accomplish, what they worked through, and the impact on their business and IT team. When a CIO stands up in front of their peers and endorses a partner, it carries a different kind of weight. These are leaders who have trusted that partner with something important and are willing to say so publicly.

For BlueSky, that is the heart of what a trusted partnership looks like. It is not just knowing what a vendor sells. It is knowing they care about what you are trying to accomplish, and having seen them show up when it mattered. The underwriters in the room were not competing with each other. Each brought a different area of expertise, and together they gave the CIOs a chance to see the people behind the companies they work with.

Thank you to Anna Burdett and the Inspire team for putting together such a meaningful event, and to the CIO advocates who took the time to share their stories. If you missed this one, we hope you will join us next time.
