Senior Technology Sales Executive – UcaaS

BlueSky is looking for a results-driven, experienced sales leader to help meet the demands of the evolving unified communications as a service (UCaaS) market. This is position requires consultative selling, mid-level management to C-level customer interaction, personal initiative, and industry and solution knowledge to provide our customers a high level of service. There is also a high level of funnel activity required to create sales within the first 6 months.

Our telecom clients are mid-market to enterprise – BlueSky would like to continue in this space but drive up market to the Fortune 100. Our goal is to be $50 million in the next 5 years, with topline goal at $100 million in 7-10 years.

We sell through an eco-system of over 170 carriers and providers and are agnostic in our offering to the client. Our global field services offering comprises of several client verticals: Telecom carriers, Vars/ Integrators and end-users. This solution is a stand alone offering to clients, but also helps BlueSky sell telecom and cloud solution because of the tech installation component.

We are looking for a seasoned professional who is tired of having their commissioned changed, accounts moved, and company management sell/buy their companies. This individual is eager to be a part of a growing company with high financial incentives, strong leadership and unlimited opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Have current book of business and relationships to be able to offer BlueSky solutions
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow BlueSky’s business through sales methodology
  • Prospect aggressively to develop new business partners through networking, referrals, lead generation, and cold calling
  • Work with business partners to identify target accounts and to achieve specific goals for closing new business
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute sales presentations to inform, persuade, educate, and ultimately close business
  • Acquire in depth knowledge of BlueSky’s service offering, knowledge of current market and market share, competition, and strategy to secure competitors business
  • Prepare and maintain necessary reports (RFP’s, metrics, periodic business reviews) and customer/prospect information in BlueSkys CRM database

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years relevant experience in UCaaS/SaaS sales
  • Knowledge of and a demonstrated track record developing successful channels for IT services, data services, telecommunications, or business applications (such as CRM, Helpdesk, and Content Management)
  • Familiarity with VoIP concepts, hosted technology and practices, and rely on experience and good judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • The ability to juggle a variety of complicated tasks, and comfortable working independently with remote support
  • Strong, effective presentation and communication skills, both verbally and written, to convey complex concepts to audiences with varying skill levels – in person, on the phone, and via email
  • Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
  • Professional and highly motivated with excellent project and task management skills
  • Excellent analytic and negotiation skills

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary depending on experience and results – 125k-150k
  • Guaranteed ramp for 3 months
  • Paid percent residual on new billing revenue for new clients
  • First year should make over 200k, and will continue to increase on yearly growth

Senior Technology Sales Executive – Cloud and Security

  • At least 10 years experience in pre-sales or technical consulting experience
  • At least 3-5 years experience with Public Cloud Technologies and Offerings
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in information or operational technology cybersecurity
  • At least 3-5 years experience in security end point and/or cloud solutions
  • At least 3 years experience in telecom solutions such as SD WAN, UCaaS/CCaaS, connectivity, 4g
  • Familiarity with both IT and OT based cyber security best practices, standards, and implementation
  • Familiarity with Public Cloud Technologies and Offerings
  • Familiarity with Open Source and Cloud Native methodologies
  • Familiarity with “as a Service” product offerings
  • The ability to juggle a variety of complicated tasks, and comfortable working independently with remote support
  • Ability lead client through sales methodology and close business consistently
