Senior Business Development Manager

Summary:

BlueSky is looking for a results-driven, experienced sales leader to help build revenue and market share for BlueSky. This is position requires consultative selling, mid-level management to C-level customer interaction, personal initiative, and industry and solution knowledge to provide our customers a high level of service. There is also a high level of funnel activity required to create sales within the first 6 months. Our telecom clients are mid-market to enterprise, with average MRC of 50-100k per month. BlueSky would like to continue in this space but drive up market to the Fortune 100. Our goal is to be $50 million in the next 5 years, with topline goal at $100 million in 7-10 years.

We sell through an eco-system of over 170 carriers and providers and are agnostic in our offering to the client. Our global field services offering comprises of several client verticals: Telecom carriers, Vars/ Integrators and end-users. This solution is a stand alone offering to clients, but also helps BlueSky sell telecom and cloud solution because of the tech installation component.

We are looking for a seasoned professional who is tired of having their commissioned changed, accounts moved, and company management sell/buy their companies. This individual is eager to be a part of a growing company with high financial incentives, strong leadership and unlimited opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent BlueSky’s telecom, cloud and field service solutions in a professional and knowledgeable manner
  • Consult with clients to sell SD WAN, UCaas/ CCass, Data Center, IaaS, wireless optimization and TEM, and other cloud services
  • Move clients through sales cycle to close
  • Work with existing base and new clients
  • Sell our smart hands field service offering, with client list to be provided
  • Telecom quota: $40,000 per quarter
  • Field Service quota: 4 new accounts monthly

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in telecommunications – voice and data, cloud
  • Experience working on multiple opportunities at one time
  • Strong skills to cold call
  • Effective time management skills and attention to detail
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines for scheduling, project deadlines and other deadlines as determined by CEO
  • Able to effectively communicate with customers and staff by phone, email or client portal
  • Able to work independently and with a team company culture
  • Ability to resolve customer issues promptly
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and other computer applications

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary
  • Guaranteed ramp of 5k for 3 months
  • X percent payment on new billing revenue – existing or new clients
  • 500-1000k payment per signed field services MSA

Solutions Architect

Summary:

The person in this position will be required to leverage a proven track record and experience to provide technical leadership, pre-sales support to prospects and customers as a part of account team focused on developing compelling technology solutions to address critical client business needs. Experienced in all phases of IT services outsourcing engagements from initiation through contract signature, including client requirements vetting, solution development, costing/pricing, and SOW/Solution documentation required for proposal submissions a contract. The person in this role will be responsible for working on the front lines of direct client engagements as well as working with business partners to structure deals and solutions that result in winning transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Experienced in working with telecom and cloud solutions and providers. Solutions include SD WAN, UCaaS, CCaaS, data center, and hybrid cloud
  • Significant technical breadth across LAN/WAN; with depth of competency in network services and solutions
  • Solution Development
    • Work with prospects to identify requirements and build compelling solution to address those requirements
    • Solution Selling, including identifying value proposition to the client and technical merits of proposed solution
  • Solution Documentation and Presentation
    • Documentation to include Visio diagrams, technical solution documentation, and cost components
    • Excellent presentation/communication skills are required, ability to deliver presentations and lead dialogue with diverse audiences of business and technology leaders
    • Act as liaison for technical issues that may arise during implementation/support
  • Support
    • Successful candidate must be able to build a long-term relationship with the technical contacts including C-level and technology leaders within the client base
    • Support sales staff and account managers as needed to properly manage the sales process and drive revenue
    • Act as a liaison with pricing and other internal teams to confirm and validate proposed solution. This includes filling out and updating pricing quote requests

Qualifications:

  • Successful track record of 10+ years directly designing and selling multi-million-dollar engagements for large enterprise network solutions
  • Detail oriented documentation and presentation skills using the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in reviewing and responding to RFIs/RFPs, qualifying opportunities and developing winning strategy and solutions for responses
  • Experience across breadth of IT technologies – including SD-WAN, UCaaS / CCaaS , telecom carrier circuits , TEM, DaaS/ VDI, and managed services and security
  • IP networking (MPLS VPN, BGP/OSPF/EIGRP/RSVP/LDP/BFD, OSI model, global networking experience, TDM, ISDN, STM, etc)
  • Understanding of enterprise IT applications
  • Understanding of enterprise cloud service use cases – Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365, Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, SAP Cloud, etc.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills required. Ability to lead technical discussions and white board sessions with clients to discuss and finalize solutions and designs
  • Understanding and ability to review/edit/develop/negotiate services documents including SOWs, Solution descriptions, SLAs, and contracts
  • Attend client meetings and vendor events as required
  • Ability to work effectively with clients, senior management, staff and vendors
  • Previous experience working with/presenting to an executive audience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • A team player, with the ability to work successfully with customers, both business and technical teams across the organization, as well as vendors and channel partners

Customer Success Associate

Summary:

BlueSky is looking for a motivated leader to take on the newly created role of Customer Success Associate. This role is an essential part of expanding and retaining our customer base as the business continues to scale. The ideal candidate possesses a clear history of success in closing new business and building value for customers in mid-market and enterprise spaces, is passionate about providing tangible success for clients, and knows this comes through proper execution and delivery on the services that they sell.

Responsibilities:

  • Experienced engaging with C-level resources, and well as mid-level managers
  • Define and manage the customer experience throughout the sales process and onboarding
  • Understand the breadth of solutions in portfolio, as well as carrier / vendors.
  • Manage multiple opportunities at one time effectively.
  • Partner closely with the sales organization to drive the ongoing support model.
  • Participate in continuous learning on solutions and outcomes through our partner channel
  • Define and analyze our customer base to develop varying strategies catered to key market
  • Research, develop and apply best practices to improve and keep customer engagement
  • Be a customer advocate throughout the organization to ensure the right priority and technical resources are being applied to maximize customer success activities
  • Identify any red flags through sales process that would inhibit BlueSky to win.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years experience leading customer-facing
  • Enterprise experience with Telecom and/or Cloud Sales
  • Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models and experience building business metrics.

Project Manager

Summary:

The Project Manager ensures the success of the project by developing and implementing the project plan for each customer engagement. The Project Manager will provide oversight and leadership for solutions, recommendations, and specific tech management for Smart Hands, Telecom and Staff Augmentation related services for BlueSky. The Project Manager serves as escalation contact with clients and vendor representatives for all technical service and operational related issues. The Project Manager is also responsible for customer satisfaction as it relates to BlueSky technical support and the delivery of high service level availability across the organization.

Responsibilities: 

  • Provides expert problem management support to difficult, high profile customer issues and ensures root-cause analysis is conducted and a corrective action plan is followed through with any learning applied for future benefit
  • Motivates, develops and mentors other employees and managers where relevant
  • Maximizes same account growth opportunities within current accounts
  • Champions team-working, re-use, knowledge sharing and promotes the increased use of Shared Services capability
  • Assist in developing, testing and implementing company’s product solutions
  • Finds resolutions to problems and analyzing problem sets that relate to assortment of operating systems
  • Provides overflow, and assistance, with obtaining quote information, and documentation for clients
  • Takes independent action to solve problems impacting service delivery, ensuring all jeopardy/risks to successful implementation are addressed and escalated appropriately; Maintains ownership of resolution while accessing escalation resources for assistance if unable to diagnose or resolve issues; Negotiates with customers, third parties, and management to ensure consensus approach to installations that fall outside normal parameters
  • Assists with service order documentation to ensure compliance, and to meet customer expectations
  • Performs other various duties as assigned
  • Project management of technicians for installation and dispatch of all BlueSky customers
  • Assists in developing, testing and implementing company’s product solutions
  • Helps create processes for assessing customer and delivering BlueSky product consistently
  • Finds resolutions to problems and analyzing problem sets that relate to assortment of operating
  • Assists techs during turn-ups regarding project related questions and issues
  • Handles escalations, some support duties and requests for high-priority customers or tasks
  • Update work order tickets as they are performed and close out all tickets to be paid after 3 days of completion
  • Develops and maintains an understanding of each client’s needs and requirements for present and future engagements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Superior customer skills and customer focus. 3-5 years experience in a customer facing capacity
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, management skills, and motivational
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customer and BlueSky management on project status
  • Ability to solve problems effectively, manage issues as they arise and escalate issues when
  • Self motivated, independent, highly organized and detail oriented individual working in a fast paced environment managing multiple projects
