Challenge:

Turnover in the corporate IT department and management had left the client with no documented processes for supporting their more than 40 branch offices and very little information on current partner contracts, spend and technologies implemented. The corporate office needed to reverse the situation as quickly as possible and reaffirm to their branch offices that they could provide them with solid support.

A senior process manager from BlueSky went on-site to evaluate the client’s systems, services and field support. Based on these observations, BlueSky recommended that all IT purchasing be centralized in the corporate office to standardize the carriers and solutions in use and thus lower telecom and support costs.
