Hospitality & Entertainment Firm

To unify data privacy and compliance processes during merger, sought a tool to standardize cookie management, centralize consumer requests, and build a foundation for AI governance across the new organization.

What We Provided:

Process Standardization & Cookie Management
Truyo supported in consolidating two separate cookie banners into a single process. Cookie consent is now live across roughly 60 sites under the Legends umbrella. Truyo replaced their previous vendor and provided testing to identify what was not working properly, followed by recommendations for improvement. This allowed them to maintain compliance during the merger.

Data Mapping & Transparency
Truyo introduced data mapping best practices, starting with ground-level system identification. With the guidance of a business consultant, they learned how to document systems, classify stored data, and plan data scanning processes to detect personal information.

Consumer Data Privacy Operations
Truyo transformed their manual data privacy workflow into a formalized system where customers submit requests through a dedicated form. The system manages communications; tracks progress and generates alerts to ensure timeliness. Additionally, there are built in checkpoints across ~240 brands within the organization.

Monitoring & Recommendations
Truyo’s platform enabled them to run regular tests and generate insight into cookie management and data privacy operations. We provided tailored recommendations and suggestions that guided the client toward measurable improvements.

AI Governance Enablement (Early Stages)
Truyo introduced the AI Governance Module, giving leadership visibility into how a framework could support risk mitigation, compliance, and preference management. While full implementation has not yet begun, this provided a roadmap for building governance practices aligned with organizational growth.
